Destructive Earthquakes Are Predictable——The Physical Model of Earthquake Gestation and the Signal ofImpending Quake

Sun Wei

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 7,   Pages 7-17

Abstract: style="text-align: justify;">What is discussed here is that the earthquake precursor have their own physicalmodel, which is divided into the load stage, the stage of stalemate, the unload stage, the short stagebefore occurrence and the quake stage.Up till now, numerous earthquakes that occurred worldwide have proved that the quake-breeding physicalmodel of destructive earthquakes may repeat and reappear.

ENHANCING RAINFALL-RUNOFF POLLUTION MODELING BY INCORPORATION OF NEGLECTED PHYSICAL PROCESSES

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2023, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 553-565 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2023519

Abstract: The wash-off model has advantages in modeling rainfall-runoff pollution due to the inclusion of two keyphysical processes, build-up and wash-off.The enhanced wash-off model was validated in a typical rural-residential area. The results showed that the model performed better than the established wash-off model and the commonly-usedThe enhanced model can provide deeper insights into non-point pollution mitigation.

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2023, Volume 18, Issue 2, doi: 10.1007/s11465-023-0748-0

Abstract: One of the core challenges of intelligent fault diagnosis is that the diagnosis model requires numerousGenerating training data using a virtual model is a potential solution for addressing such a problem,First, a virtual model is established to mirror the vibration response of a physical entity using a dynamicThen, based on the signal similarity indicator, a physical–virtual signal interaction method is proposed, and optimization algorithm are applied to increase the efficiency during the model updating.
